Mr Devidas Yewate is from Pune. He has done ATD, G.D. Art (Painting). He has won many prestigious awards in India. He is a farmer by birth, hence, he’s very fond of nature and it’s surroundings. This is the reason most of his paintings depict the mirror of rural life. His paintings capture minute details of day to day village life and people living there.

For example, the ornaments, hairstyle, the drapery, posture, mannerisms etc. He has sprinkled beautiful colours on canvas in his own rural style. The colour and figures of paintings are expressing the depth of love, affection, friendship and relationships.

People living in cities and metros are unaware of rural life. Devidas has tried his level best to portray villages and rural life in his paintings. He has chosen Acrylic on canvas as his medium for this show.  He has done various shows all over India. His collections are available at  L M Kadri Mumbai, India Art Gallery etc.
